Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Zack Snyder has revealed that Netflix wanted him to make extended cuts of his upcoming Rebel Moon films from the very start. The two-part science fiction epic is set in a world where a corrupt government called Mother World controls multiple facets of the galaxy with their army, the Imperium.
Speaking with Slash Film, Snyder revealed Netflix wanted extended cuts of both films even before the first Rebel Moon gets released. He teases that the extended cuts of both films will further explore the many characters set to appear during the two-part movie. Check out what Snyder had to say below:
I was like, 'That's cool. That makes it a lot easier than this.' Because it's one of those things that I guess I was always inspired by movies like 'Brazil,' or there's a great history of director's cuts that are just cool. When I was in film school, I just always thought that was cool, that there was this other movie that you could discover.
