Top global indoor karting operator, K1 Speed, will be opening the exciting £5.5 million facility at XSite Braehead, with plenty of family fun on offer.
One of the world's most popular indoor karting firms has confirmed it is set to open the 'world’s longest indoor karting track' at a popular events centre near Glasgow in the autumn next year.
The new spot will transform the former Snowfactor site and will include an expansive three-decked indoor karting track that spans over 1,000 metres. Set to appeal to locals and tourists alike, the karts - priced at £15,000 each - are reported to be the most advanced in the world, capable of reaching speeds of up to 40 mph and accelerating to top speed in seconds.
