Top global indoor karting operator, K1 Speed, will be opening the exciting £5.5 million facility at XSite Braehead, with plenty of family fun on offer.

One of the world's most popular indoor karting firms has confirmed it is set to open the 'world’s longest indoor karting track' at a popular events centre near Glasgow in the autumn next year.

The new spot will transform the former Snowfactor site and will include an expansive three-decked indoor karting track that spans over 1,000 metres. The top global firm said it selected Braehead for its “rich motorsport history” and location near Glasgow airport.READ MORE: The chippy near Glasgow putting their own twist on a TikTok fave with a 'Scottish spice bag'
