Granite Properties – which has new office towers in Plano and Uptown Dallas – is promoting Will Hendrickson to chief executive. Hendrickson, the Plano-based company’s senior managing director, will shift into the new role after the first of the year.Hendrickson joined Granite in 2003 as an investment analyst. In 2017, he was promoted to head managing director and has overseen development of Granite’s new office buildings in Plano, Uptown Dallas and Southlake.

He also headed efforts to build Granite’s new 23Springs office tower now under construction in Uptown. The 26-story, more than 626,000-square-foot high-rise will open in 2025.Dardick and Oklahoma’s Schusterman family founded Granite Properties in 1991. The company has completed more than $10 billion in development and acquisitions in North Texas, Houston, Atlanta, Denver, Southern California, Boston and Nashville.

“I’m proud of what we’ve achieved together navigating the ever-evolving real estate industry while always putting the experience of our customers first,” Dardick said. As part of the executive reshuffling, Bill Brown, now Granite’s chief investment officer, will also take on the title of president and continue his role as CIO focused on advancing the company’s growth.Paul Bennett, currently senior director of investments, will become the new senior managing director heading the Dallas market. Jason Purvis, currently senior managing director and the Southern California market leader, will also become head of capital raising.
