Thought there were some things out of AI’s reach? Here’s a vibe check.
Google Maps revealed an incoming update: the ability to scope out the “vibe” of a neighborhood on your screen before hitting the streets.
Soon, you'll be able to vibe-check a neighborhood before making plans with photos and videos right on your map ✨ pic.twitter.com/8izqCkDu85 The feature is one of four unveiled by Google in a recent update on updates, posted on their blog page September 28. According to the post, the package is intended to “make Maps look and feel more like the real world.”
The other immersions features include a plethora of 250 degree aerial views from global landmarks and a searchable Live View — both of which will rollout first in San Francisco, Los Angeles, London, New York, and Tokyo in the coming months.
