The Illuminate are set to come to Helldivers 2 in the future, and a recent leak gives us a look at an enemy called Guy,
For as long as Helldivers 2 has been released, players have been speculating as to whether The Illuminate will be coming to the game. After many leaks over the past few months, it looks like it won’t be long until the third faction is coming to the game sooner rather than later, and a new in-game character model is one of the best teasers we’ve seen so far. A new image from prominent leaker U/IronS1ghts shows what the Guy enemy will look like in Helldivers 2.
Guy looks like it will be a fun enemy to fight against, but unfortunately, we may have a while to wait yet. The Helldivers 2 story is building towards Super Earth building a Super Weapon, with a recent voice line mentioning it. This will lead to the creation of a black hole which will be the catalyst for The Illuminate to return. There is no timeline for this to take place yet, but with it now being mentioned in-game, some expect that they will be appearing within the next 2-3 months.
