What do you think of these plans?
Applicant Morrison Community Care has proposed to build the new facility on Anniesland Road, near its junction with Helensburgh Drive.
The site is currently home to Yarrow Recreation Club, which has served locals in Anniesland Road for 77 years. As the Glasgow Times reported previously, the applicant hopes to buy the disused bowling green and tennis lawn, for a token fee of £1, so the club can stay viable and continue to be used. According to documents, the building would be L-shaped, with two community green spaces and 12 parking spots.
