According to the reports, the Jaguars cannot consider extending their lease until a long-term resolution is reached regarding the stadium situation and the surrounding property.
However, not all fans share the same sentiment. Walker Ragland raises concerns about the substantial amount of money involved and expresses worries about other infrastructure projects. Ragland believes the Jaguars are beneficial to the local economy but questions whether the investment is worth it. The reports further indicate that the Jaguars would gain rights to several parking lots and establish a special taxing district encompassing new developments outside the stadium in the sports complex. The city would contribute more than $100 million to this aspect of the project, which would be part of the overall cost split.
