The new Model 3 Performance will come standard with upgraded dual electric motors
The new Model 3 Performance will also feature an updated Track Mode feature. Tesla is expected to apply several styling changes to the flagship Model 3. Other changes include new brakes and - for the first time - an adaptive suspension. Tesla is gearing up to launch the flagship Model 3 Performance and new details about the punchy EV have surfaced online.
The source code, uncovered by InsideEVs, claims the car will have “all-new adaptive damping powered by in-house software gives you enhanced body control without sacrificing daily usability or comfort.” It is unclear if drivers will be able to adjust the damping or if it will be all done automatically through the car’s advanced computers, but Tesla does say there is a new driving mode that “integrates adaptive suspension controls,” suggesting it will be customizable.
