It replaces Ohannes Burger on Mansfield Road
Sherwood is about to get even tastier with the arrival of a new Turkish takeaway. Wrap to Go will be serving chargrilled meat and vegetable wraps, kebab platters, mezze and sweet treats.
The takeaway will be opening in the former premises of former burger joint Ohannes in Mansfield Road. It closed in February 2023 and the unit has been empty since then. The new eatery's menu features tortilla wraps filled with beef in a variety of ways - minced. pulled, steak and slow-cooked, or lamb shish. Chicken wraps are served five ways with pulled chicken, buttermilk, shish, peri peri and kofte.Veggie versions come with falafel, halloumi or mushrooms, peppers, tomatoes and courgette. Platters have skewered chicken or lamb and chicken wings with salad and bulgur wheat.
The takeaway, which also has 12 seats for eating in, is offering a selection of mezze including hummus, tzatziki, vine leaves and roasted aubergine with garlic. Baklava is there for sweet-toothed customers.
