For the new warning, the forecaster said: "Thunderstorms developing Tuesday afternoon may bring some disruption." "These will be fairly slow moving with the potential for large rainfall amounts in a short period of time. 20-30 mm of rain may fall in an hour or less in a few spots with perhaps 40-50 mm possible if successive showers affect the same location.And for Monday's forecast, the Met Office said: "Mainly dry start with some sunshine. Showers developing during the morning with a few heavy showers likely in the afternoon. Some areas will remain dry. Staying very warm.
