New York Times says it’s exceeded goal of $800 million in digital ad revenue
The New York Times Co. NYT, +0.80% said Tuesday it surpassed its goal of $800 million in annual digital revenue in 2019, a full year ahead of schedule. In a statement based on remarks to be delivered by Chief Executive Mark Thompson at a staff town hall later Tuesday, the company said it had set the goal in 2019 at a time when digital revenue was about $400 million. The company added more than 1 million net digital subscriptions in 2019, model in 2011.
