The rate of positive tests has been measured at 0.81 percent for players and 0.46 percent for all personnel, the league announced.

The NFL said it had conducted 109,075 tests through Tuesday, with a positive-test rate of 0.46 percent for all personnel and 0.81 percent for players.

Those figures include the intake testing conducted when players, coaches and staffers first arrived for training camps. According to the NFL, there were 170 new positives among 9,983 people tested at that point, for a positive-test rate of 1.7 percent. The 2,840 players to undergo intake testing had a positive-test rate of 1.9 percent, with 53 new positives.

According to Sills, the rate of positive tests has not exceeded 1.7 percent on any single team.
