He looked like he was all the way back on Sunday.Goff was a throw-in for the Detroit Lions on a blockbuster trade by the Los Angeles Rams. He balanced the salaries so the Lions could send Matthew Stafford to Los Angeles.
The Falcons are 3-2. They're probably not good enough to beat the elite teams in the NFL, but they can stay in playoff contention beating lesser opponents. Maybe Sunday was a sign that Ridder is taking a step forward, which would raise Atlanta's ceiling.Last season, the Vikings went 11-0 in games decided by seven points or less. It was an NFL record and one that might not be matched for a long time. That takes the coin flipping on your side a lot of times in a row.
