Broadway star Nick Cordero has been hospitalized for almost two months after suffering complications from the coronavirus.
. "So they are going to continue doing that with him... There’s like 16-20 hour intervals that they do that. They are seeing some improvements with his oxygen and gas exchange rates when they do that. So that was really good and promising."
She also took a moment to acknowledge the"absolutely amazing" doctors and nurses at Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles, who are"working so hard to research and find anything and everything that could be possibly a help to Nick." "He has been through so much, but he has defied the odds," she added."I mean Nick has literally defied odds, and I think there’s somethin’ to that. You don’t go through all of this to not make it through all of this. And I just think about him, and I think about how tired and exhausted he must be, and it helps me to be like, 'OK if he can do it, I can do this.' I can keep fighting, I can keep hoping, I can keep cheering him on, I can keep singing.
On May 12, Kloots shared a major milestone: Cordero woke up after spending more than a month in a medically induced coma from complications of the coronavirus.
