Deliveroo and The Trussell Trust have launched the food collection service as part of their Full Life campaign
post, Deliveroo said they were “proud to have Olympic boxing champion and Strictly star” Nicola join the task force and help with the first pick ups.
The online food company explained the campaign, writing: “Collecteroo is our food collection service to encourage people who can to donate unopened food items from their cupboards to food banks and help households facing hunger.” In the advert, Nicola also includes other ways to help “people locked in poverty” including rounding up your Deliveroo order to the nearest pound.Collecteroo e-vans will be visiting the five UK cities throughout December 2022: Manchester , Glasgow , Cardiff , Birmingham and London .Food for collection include tinned fruit, tinned meat/fish, UHT Milk, tinned tomatoes, pasta sauce, sponge or rice puddings, long-life juice, tea, coffee, and soup.
