A semiconductor company claims that new models of the Switch, PS5, and Xbox are all due to start to go into production this September.
The reality of Switch 2 is getting closer There’s been a lot of Switch 2 rumours in the last few weeks, from how much it might cost to when it might be released. That’s not surprising as, even without any insider info, you’d expect it to be getting close to the point where it’s being manufactured in secret, ahead of its final release.
The Xbox Series X is only a minor refresh, and no more or less powerful than the current model, but the technical specifications of the PS5 Pro have been leaking for months now. Although there’s still been no hint from Sony as to its existence. Nintendo has never said anything substantial about the Switch 2, just that it will be announced by at least next spring, along with fairly clear hints that it will be backwards compatible.
