Mark is prepping for a homecoming to remember as he aims to complete his third marathon in three weeks MyMarathon
Elite wheelchair athlete Mark Millar is set to compete in front of his home crowd for the first time in the Mash Direct Belfast City Marathon on Sunday, April 30.
Having competed in the ‘brutal’ commonwealth games in Birmingham in 2022 and breaking his femur a week after completing the Dublin marathon the same year leaving him unable to train for three months. He is not giving himself an easy task with three marathons in three weeks finishing up in Belfast.
Following on from the Boston and London Marathon Mark will be finishing up his 3 week run in the Mash Direct Belfast City Marathon and planning to cross the finish line in an incredible 1 hour 30 minutes. His reward: ‘a week off and a couple of pints after race day.’ With 1000’s set to compete on Sunday this is a once in a lifetime homecoming story spectators won’t want to miss at the finish line! For all the latest news, visit the Belfast Live homepage here and sign up to our daily newsletter here
