Community initiatives in Glasgow will receive two generous donations from the Allied Vehicles Charitable Trust.

The Ashgill Steering Group will receive £2,600 to create a sensory area at the Ashgill Recreation Centre which will support children with autism and other additional needs, reinforcing community inclusion.

Gerry Facenna, founder of Allied Vehicles, who grew up in North Glasgow, said he is deeply committed to supporting the local communities, adding that the children will benefit immensely from the new sensory area at the ARC in Milton. This contribution will allow the club to transport its young athletes to competitions and events beyond Glasgow, significantly extending its reach and impact.
