Dozens of community facilities in Lanarkshire will be permanently closed over the next two years following a decision by the council, whose leaders say it faces 'the most pressing budget cuts'.
Nearly 40 council-run community centres and leisure facilities are to close in North Lanarkshire including five out of eight swimming pools.
