A Northampton landlord has been found guilty of operating eight unlicensed Houses in Multiple Occupation . Faiz Hammed, of Moulton Grange, and three others were found to be operating eight properties without a licence.
West Northamptonshire Council’s Housing Enforcement Team initially inspected the properties, located in Hinton Road, Obelisk Rise, Culworth Crescent, Kingsthorpe Avenue, Aynho Crescent and Chalcombe Avenue, in late 2019 and early 2022. Mr Waheed Ahmed, a further relation to Mr Faiz Hameed, pleaded guilty to his involvement with one of the properties and has been sentenced previously. The District Judge deferred sentencing in the case to March 1, 2024.
