They discovered the original 'Northamptonshire Sauce' recipe in a hidden book during the Covid lockdown
A Northamptonshire mum and her two daughters will be on Channel 4's Aldi’s Next Big Thing with their family sauce. Georgina Jeyes, 74, and daughters Anna Jeyes-Hulme, 38, and Philippa Jeyes, 49, are on the show tomorrow .
After selling over 10,000 bottles in the first few months, they knew they had produced something special for the county. Viewers can see the family pitch their sauce at Aldi’s headquarters as they compete for a life-changing contract to stock stores nationwide. Hosted by Anita Rani, of Countryfile and BBC Radio 4 and Chris Bavin, of Britain's Best Home Cook and Eat Well for Less, the six-part series sees suppliers compete in categories such as dinners, baked goods, treats and store cupboard essentials.
