Motherwell boss Stuart Kettlewell was left annoyed by their last two games against Aberdeen
Motherwell boss Stuart Kettlewell says it’s nothing personal, but he’s eager to get a first win over Aberdeen this season when they head to Pittodrie today.
Kettlewell says he will make some minor changes to his side as they head into battle in the Granite City this weekend, in the hope of getting the points.“I’ve watched a fair bit of Aberdeen, we played them recently and in my mind there was a controversial game here where we had a goal chalked off, everybody knew my thoughts on that, and there was an incident with the last kick of the ball where we felt there was a hand-ball by Graeme Shinnie. That game was incredibly close.
“That’s nothing personal against Aberdeen, they’ll want to beat us this weekend, we’ll want to beat them, and it will come down to who performs and executes what they’re trying to do.” “To do that we’re going to have to be at our absolute best because we’ve got a tough run of fixtures. Kettlewell says this stage of the season is about balancing his aims for the campaign and the start of next.
“There will be bits of interest in some of our players, by the level that they’ve played at, and some have moved on in January because of that.
