Two minutes after being brought on in Sunday’s EFL Trophy final at Wembley, Taylor scored for loan club Wycombe Wanderers. His volley from range in the 89th minute made it 1-1 against Peterborough United and looked like forcing extra-time. However, Harrison Burrows scored his second of the afternoon in added time to clinch the silverware for Posh.
It has already been a memorable season for the teenage forward. He made his first-team debut earlier this year as a substitute against Bristol City in the FA Cup.
