Latest Nottingham Forest transfer news as Nuno Espirito Santo's Reds are linked with Brazilian goalkeeper
Nottingham Forest-linked Carlos Miguel is apparently at the centre of a transfer tussle. Reports from Brazil emerged overnight suggesting the Reds were ready to trigger the Corinthians goalkeeper’s €4m release clause. He was said to also have interest from elsewhere - including Watford and an Italian side - but a switch to the City Ground was seen as his preferred choice.
Forest are said to have a “verbal agreement” with the 25-year-old, giving them the “upper hand”. But the Hammers are said to have stated their willingness to meet Miguel’s release clause.
