Kersharn Dockeray-Barnett and Keaton Adlam-Morgan are on trial for allegedly killing dad-of-two Reece Connor
is due to be opened today, Tuesday July 2. Kersharn Dockeray-Barnett and Keaton Adlam-Morgan are alleged to have killed dad-of-two Reece Connor in the street on Christmas Day, 2023.
The 29-year-old victim suffered a single stab wound in Wollaton Road, allegedly inflicted by one of the duo, who are on trial atMr Connor was a father to two sons and after being stabbed was taken to hospital via ambulance, but died of his injury.
John Lloyd-Jones KC, prosecuting, said: "At around 7.45pm on Christmas Day last year, Reece Connor was walking in the Crown Island underpass and encountered Kersharn Dockeray-Barnett. The two of them did not know each other but there was some sort of dispute and they then both left the underpass.. A short time later,
Kersharn Dockeray-Barnett returned to the Crown Island area accompanied by his co-defendant. There, they confronted Reece Connor, there was a fight and Reece Connor was fatally stabbed withh a knife to the chest."Both defendants are now in the dock inside courtroom one. The public gallery is almost full with family members of Mr Connor and the accused pair.
