Our thoughts are with all those affected
Neighbours voiced their sadness following a 'serious' house fire in a Nottingham street. The fire in Deepdene Way, in the Broxtowe Estate of Nottingham, was first reported at 10.40am on Thursday, November 17.
Locals spoke of the scenes as emergency services descended on the street. Chloe Grocock, 20, who lives in Deepdene Way, said: "It was out by the time I came back but you could see smoke. "It’s the second fire in this area in the last month. When I pulled up all the neighbours were watching and wanting to know what was going on."
A resident called Charlene, who did not give her surname, lives nearby. She said she did not see the fire but was saddened by the incident. She said: “It’s so sad that it has happened - it looks serious. It’s such a shame.”
