Incredibly sad news to report
An inquest was opened and adjourned into the death of a 15-year-old boy in Nottinghamshire. Zain Beeharry was born on March 24, 2007, and died on March 1, 2023, Nottingham Coroner's Court was told on Wednesday .
Assistant coroner Rebecca Covington gave the briefest of details into Zain's death as she formally opened the inquest at the Council House, in Old Market Square. After he was identified after death, a provisional cause of death was given to the coroner if multiple traumatic injuries. He died at Blackstope Lane, Retford, but no further details were heard about the circumstances which will be for the final inquest conclusion on a date to be decided. Ms Covington expressed her sincere condolences to his family and friends at this difficult time.
