It's warm out there right now, but StormTeam4NY says some of us could see snow later this week. Here's the latest:
NYC weather stays unseasonably warm the next few days, with 60-degree temps possible mid-week along with a daily chance of rain
Friday could see light snow accumulation in parts of the Hudson Valley, but those above-freezing temps will likely limit any totals significantlyExpect more unseasonably warm weather to continue through Thursday, with temperatures in the 50s Tuesday and hitting the 60s on Wednesday, which could break some daily heat records. That's certainly a far cry from typical temperatures for early January, where average highs in the city are around 40 degrees.
The Hudson Valley and higher elevations northwest of the city could see light snow as colder air moves in Friday and temps dive to a more seasonable low-40s. Those above-freezing temperatures, though, will limit any potential accumulation. Based on the current forecast, expect less than an inch at most. That could change, though, of course.
