It's the news fans have been waiting for, the most epic and welcomed return of Oasis . The brothers Gallagher, or Noel and Liam as they're better known, announced the reunion tour on Tuesday morning.
Following the announcement of the Oasis comeback, hotel prices in the Scottish capital have already skyrocketed. Many accommodation options in Edinburgh over the weekend that the legendary Manchester rock band will perform are already fully booked, while others have doubled their fees. "Who told the Oasis lads that gigs in Edinburgh in August was a good idea? The city is already over full and impossibly expensive at that time of year. The bun fight for tickets is going to be epic… glad I can sit this one out," voiced another on Twitter.
US superstar Taylor Swift's three shows held at Murrayfield in June caused chaos for Swifties attempting to travel home after the gig ended. ScotRail and Edinburgh Trams laid on extra and later services - but as the crowd peaked at nearly 73,000, many fans struggled to get home, as we previously reported.
