Two people were found unconscious in an improperly parked car in an Avon Lake parking lot on October 7. A K-9 sniff and subsequent search of the vehicle and occupants resulted in finding illegal drugs.Officers were dispatched for a possible overdose on October 3. Upon officers’ arrival, the person fled northbound. Police were able to detain the suspect after they ran into a resident’s backyard. The suspect was transported to the hospital without incident.
