Company takes action after government withdraws DWP payment of £300 for heating for 10 million
Pensioners reeling from having the winter fuel payment of up to £300 axed have been handed a lifeline by energy supplier Octopus. This week the change was voted through Parliament by the government meaning about 10 million people who previously got the payment will no longer have it.
