unveiled a new video for "Wild Roses" on Thursday .
The clip shows singer Nanna Bryndís Hilmarsdóttir in a dark pool, delving into a haunting interpretive dance while the pop beat plays. Blood fills the water and tears fill her eyes, and the water mimics her movements, paying tribute to Scandinavian horror classics. "Wild Roses’ shows an introverted side to the album and is inspired by what it is like to lean into your sadness. We wanted to capture that feeling in a performance for the music video, while bringing out a bit of uneasiness as well," Nanna said in a press statement. "So, we brought on choreographer Stella Rosenkranzto help create the movements you see. We also knew that we wanted to shoot the video in water with a bit of blood.
