Ofcom has issued new rules to Amazon, Channel 4, ITVX and Now TV
TV and broadcast regulator Ofcom has issued a change which will affect streaming services and on-demand platforms in the UK and has named ITV X, Channel 4 , Amazon Prime Video and Now TV among those which will be affected.
Ofcom said that broadcasters must, by law, provide access services on a certain proportion of their programming. It said: "We explain what they must do in our TV Access Services Code and give advice on how they can ensure they are of a high-quality and easy to use in our Best Practice Guidelines.
