An officer with SAPD faced a 30-day suspension for his off-duty actions during a burglary investigation, police records show.
SAN ANTONIO
On Sept. 6, 2022, on-duty SAPD officers were dispatched to a possible burglary in progress at 9613 New Laredo Highway around 5:47 p.m. Benson then accused one of the officers on the scene of incompetence, even going as far as to question the on-duty officer for not doing his job in front of property owners and other officers.
