Officers were executing a search warrant in southwest Denver on Friday night when a man inside the residence shot himself, police said.was executed a search warrant in the 5900 block of W Hampden Ave related to an open investigation.
The adult male suspect also had two outstanding warrants for his arrest. After attempting to contact the person, SWAT officers were outside the residence and heard gunshots.The incident happened in the 5900 block of West Hampden Avenue, police said in an 8:04 p.m. tweet.
