Nehemia “Nammie” Ichilov, president and CEO of the Jewish Federation of San Antonio, confirmed that the FBI brought closure to an antisemitic incident that occurred over the weekend.After the FBI said over the weekend that no “arrest” was made, officials from the Anti-Defamation League and from the Jewish Federation of San Antonio said Monday that a person was “apprehended” in connection with recent threats against a Texas synagogue.
Nehemia “Nammie” Ichilov, president and CEO of the Federation, also confirmed that the FBI headed off the incident. Neither Hyman nor Ichilov was able to identify the individual, or where said person was found, deferring requests for information regarding the case itself to the FBI.
