Eduardo Camacho, of Cleveland, Ohio, was arrested Monday and is awaiting extradition to New Jersey, officials said.
A 29-year-old man from Ohio is awaiting extradition to New Jersey for allegedly sexually assaulting two minors multiple times while in the state, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.
Eduardo Camacho, of Cleveland, Ohio, was arrested Monday after the Cliffside Park Police Department contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit about the alleged sexual assaults, officials said. An investigation revealed Camacho sexually assaulted two children, one under the age of 13 and one between 13 and 16 years old, on multiple occasions in Cliffside Park, the prosecutor said.
He was apprehended in Ohio and charged with six counts of aggravated sexual assault and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, the prosecutor said., officials said. No attorney information for Camacho was immediately available.
