Ivy Getty, great-grandaughter of J. Paul Getty, got married over the weekend wearing a one-of-a-kind Margiela gown, with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi officiating and Anya Taylor-Joy serving as maid of honor.

There was also a “British Invasion Mod”-themed pre-wedding party at the Palace of Fine Arts where guests dressed in their finest ’60s garb for a night DJed byand a performance by Earth, Wind & Fire. For that event, Getty wore three different vintage looks from designers Emanuel Ungaro, Emilio Pucci, and Norman Norell. The next day, the newlyweds also threw a picnic at the Log Cabin on Presidio where guests were offered IV drips to help abate their hangovers.
Engel first met the heiress through one of her family members and then the pair reconnected a year later at Paris Fashion Week. Over the course of their relationship, the couple has traveled frequently and on one of these trips to Capri, Engel decided to propose. “Normally, I pick where we go out to eat, but this time Toby insisted he pick. This didn’t raise any red flags, but when I got to the restaurant, I thought to myself ‘Oh he really planned this,’” Getty explained.
