Adam Peaty, one of Britain's biggest stars in the Olympics, has opened up about how he was pulled from a dark place by his girlfriend Holly and her famous dad Gordon Ramsay
Adam Peaty has wowed fans this week as he arrived at the Paris 2024 Olympics with a bang, smashing his first 100m swim out of the park. And while the swimmer has three Olympic golds to his name, it's not been an easy ride - with Adam speaking candidly on his battle with depression and alcohol.
And showing things were more serious, at the beginning of the year, they revealed matching tattoos. Holly got the letter A by her ear while Adam had an H inked on his chest. Adam reflected on Gordon's influence, saying, "He worked his way up to the upper echelons of his industry and works in a place where there's no bulls**t. I take a lot from that and from the professionalism he has every single day with a relentless pursuit."
