One dead, one injured in shooting in south Harris County, sheriff says
OnScene.tvThe shooting happened around 7:30 p.m. Monday in the 4700 block of Backenberry on Monday night, Gonzalez said. The street is just outside the Friendswood city limits.
The incident may have started with an argument between the women and a man, Gonzalez said. The man allegedly shot the women and then drove away in a gray sedan, Gonzalez said. One of the women died at the scene. The other was taken to a hospital and was in critical condition, he said.Investigators were still at the scene late Monday night.
