A 21-year-old man died from multiple gunshot wounds he sustained in a shooting in Paterson early Sunday morning, authorities said. At around 2:17 a.m., members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to the area of Park Avenue and Carroll Street for reports of a shooting, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
Upon their arrival, officers found a 21-year-old male from Paterson with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson where he was pronounced dead, according to police.
