Every racial and ethnic community has its internal dynamics, some positive and others harmful. Harmful dynamics may spill over into the workplace or other places where discrimination is prohibited. But there are laws in place that offer protection and appropriate remedies if that happens. There is no agreed upon definition of caste — even the government of India does not have a definition.
