Opinion: San Diego police dog killed in Clairemont shooting should not have died [Opinion]
” : I am saddened and disgusted the police once again sent a K-9 officer into a situation where the dog could be killed. Yes, I’m a Monday morning quarterback, but it’s obvious from the news there was no one around in danger when and where this incident occurred and if there was, why not just shoot the guy before he kills the dog instead of after?
The police K-9 dogs should only be used when someone’s life is in immediate danger, and this was not the case. Shame.
