Opinion: San Diego voters fell for trash fee measure [Opinion]
” : Well, it looks like San Diegans were sold a bill of goods. Single-family homes will now have to pay for trash service, while the coffers of San Diego just got about an $80 million raise.
I want to know how much is going to be credited to my property tax bill next year, since I already pay for my trash service in my exorbitantly high property taxes. Oh, and do all the renters that rent single-family homes in the city of San Diego know that they just voted in a trash service that they will now have to pay for?
