The update also says that electrical transmission lines have been damaged or are threatened. This fire, which is located east of Detroit, is 1 mile apart from the Riverside Fire, though the NWCC advises that a merge of the two fires"is not imminent."
The weather forecast, as reported by NWCC, suggests that high pressure will slowly weaken today, meaning there could be some improvement in overall air quality.
