The Occupational Safety and Health Administration says it will seek more than $300,000 in fines against a Waukegan roofer that OSHA says has a history of operating unsafe job sites.

The company was cited twice in a 10-day period for not providing adequate protection against falls for workers at projects in Hoffman Estates and Waukesha, Wisconsin, OSHA said.

Since 2014, ECS has been cited seven times for similar issues, according to the federal safety agency, which said falls have accounted for 351 workplace fatalities since 2020. OSHA is proposing $360,000 in penalties for ECS. The company has almost $140,000 in unpaid fines from past citations, OSHA said.Lambs Farm chugs into spring fun with Model Train Day
