BREAKING: Over 100 LA firefighters are battling a 'major emergency' brush fire from the air and the ground in the Hansen Dam Recreation Area.
The fire was escalated to"Major Emergency" status within the last hour. The flames are being fanned by 10 mph winds that have already scorched at least three acres, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
