State police said 39-year-old Luke Bartholow has been charged with misdemeanor bomb threats: threatening the placement of a bomb, according toIt began when troopers were called Jan. 15 to a home in Napier Township after Bartholow violated a protection from abuse order. It was then that the victim recorded a phone call with Bartholow in which he threatened to eat the sheriff and kill everyone inside the courthouse with an explosion.

The sheriff submitted a thumb drive with the recording to State Police as evidence on Jan. 20 and Bartholow was arrested that night.
