Damon Millington had confessed when he was arrested in 2020 but then said he had done so to protect his girlfriend from going to jail.
WILLIAMSPORT – A Lycoming County man has been found guilty of torching a motorcycle club’s building and threatening to kill his girlfriend because “she knew too much.”that destroyed the Road Knights Motorcycle Club building north of Williamsport on Feb. 9, 2020.
That change resulted in a two-day trial that ended Wednesday with a county court jury finding Millington guilty of charges of arson, intimidation of a witness, criminal trespass, burglary, terroristic threats, criminal mischief and risking a catastrophe. Severed was a charge of convicted felon not to possess a firearm that relates to a 30-06 rifle that was found in his apartment.
Retired Old Lycoming Twp. Police Chief Joseph Hope who investigated the blaze did not change his report, Welickovitch said in rebuttal.
