According to authorities, cell phone evidence revealed that the shooting was connected to a robbery, and both gunshot victims were taken to Pottstown Hospital, where Dakari Rome was pronounced dead and a teenager identified as J.H. was treated for injuries and released.Barnes was remanded to the Montgomery County Youth Center without bail, as bail is not available to suspects charged with first-degree murder. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Oct. 18.
